Amit Bhoraskar is a computer engineer with an MBA in marketing and finance with over 10 years of experience in the Technology industry, both in the domestic and the overseas markets. He has extensive experience in product management, channel management and consulting for various technology products and technologies.

Amit as the head of alliances with Red Hat India, he has been spearheading partner initiatives for over 2 years. During this tenure, he has managed to build and grow a strong network of ISV partners and OEM partners for Red Hat across the subcontinent.

Prior to joining Red Hat India, Amit had a long association with Aptech Limited, where he began his career. Specialising in the sales function in technology, Amit successfully climbed up the corporate ladder, managing various roles and responsibilities as branch manager and national sales manager  of Oracle business. He then went on to become the country head for Aptech, Australia.

Ashish is a founding managing partner of Helion. He serves on the boards of Naukri, Mu Sigma, Anantara, Virtual Synaptics, Ji Grahak, Kirusa, and Komli. He has been an entrepreneur and an investor in the US and in India, investing in over 35 companies.  His investments include Daksh (IBM), Odesk, Obongo (AOL), Speedera (Akamai), Make My Trip, Merittrac, and Kaboodle (Hearst). Ashish co-founded and helped grow two successful companies; Tavant Technologies which is a 1000+ person IT services company, and Junglee (Amazon.com) that  pioneered comparison shopping on the internet.

Ashish has worked at Woodside Fund, Amazon.com, Oracle Corporation, and IBM Research. He has to his credit several patents, international publications, and a book by MIT press.  He is a Kauffman Fellow from the prestigious Center for Venture Education, the world’s leading venture capital education program. He also holds a Ph.D. in computer science from Stanford University and a bachelor's degree from IIT Kanpur, where he was awarded the President's Gold medal.

Jagadish is Asia Pacific Regional Engineering Manager at Intel Technology India Pvt. Ltd. He is focused on the enabling of software solutions on Intel Architecture across APAC. With his team, he works with ISV's, SI's and the customer community in APAC, to enable their solutions designs on Intel Architecture.

After completing his studies in 1998, he joined Intel in India as Application Engineer, at Internet Solutions Group, working with eBusiness Solution Providers. He has worked in the areas of application performance optimization, 3D graphic application design and optimization, and sizing and optimization of large e-business infrastructures.  Areas of current interest are computer architecture, design of some of the latest processors and platforms and performance characteristics of applications deployed on large infrastructure.

He did his BSc in electronics from Bangalore University in 1992, followed by a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Science in 1997.

Louis Suárez-Potts is the longtime Community Manager and Chair of the Community Council for OpenOffice.org; he joined Sun Microsystems in 2007 and has led the OpenOffice.org community since 2000. The lead and co-lead of several projects and the primary spokesperson and representative of OpenOffice.org, Suárez-Potts also represents the project regarding OpenDocument format (ODF) matters, and is on the OASIS ODF Adoption Technical Committee and is a member of the ODF Alliance. He speaks frequently on the ODF, OpenOffice.org, education and open source, and community development throughout the world.  Suárez-Potts is currently working on several articles regarding open source development and education. He lives in Toronto and received his PhD from U.C. Berkeley.

Narendra’s team drives engineering and business relationships with ISVs and Software Developers in the region across consumer and enterprise segments.

After returning to India from USA in 1998, he was the General Manager of Internet Solutions Group, working with the eBusiness solution Providers. He joined Intel, USA in 1993 and has worked in the areas of Systems Software, CAD Tools and 3D Graphics. He was also awarded the Intel Achievement award for delivering high performance graphics software. He has also written technical papers in IEEE and ACM publications.

He did his BE in Computer Science from Bangalore University in 1990, followed by Masters from Arizona State University, USA. He also did project and research work at CDOT and IIT Madras in the areas of supercomputing and Telecom infrastructure.

Pallavi Kathuria is the Director of the Server Business Group at Microsoft India. In this role, Pallavi is responsible for driving and influencing performance as well as long-term success of Microsoft’s Server business in India. Pallavi’s key focus areas are driving the growth of the Server Business and consolidating Microsoft’s leadership position in the Server market in India. She also owns Microsoft engagement with IT Pro community in India.

Pallavi started her career with Microsoft in 1995. Prior to taking over as Director - Server BG, with Microsoft India she was Director, Server Pricing & SKU Strategy in Microsoft Corporation at Redmond. As part of her previous role, Pallavi was responsible for identifying, planning and executing on several cross-server pricing, licensing and packaging opportunities to gain revenue and market share. At Microsoft, Pallavi has also held product management and business strategy responsibilities with MSN and services responsibilities with Microsoft Consulting Services (MCS) and Premier Support.

Radhesh Balakrishnan is the director, platform strategy for Microsoft India and is responsible for driving platform and competitive strategy for the organisation in India. Radhesh has been with Microsoft since 1999 and has held various product management and marketing roles across the Windows client, Exchange Server and Windows Server businesses at the corporate headquarters in Redmond, USA. Prior to joining the Indian subsidiary in 2006, Radhesh was a group product manager in the Windows Server Division in Redmond, managing the product management and  marketing of file and print/storage workload, branch office solutions and Windows Storage Server.

Radhesh has been associated with the Information Technology industry for over a dozen years that includes working for Sonata Software Limited, Bangalore and Xerox Business Services, Rochester, New York.

Radhesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Master of Business Administration from Pondicherry University and a Master of Business Administration from University of Rochester, New York.

Ravindra carries with him over 6 years of work experience with organisations like Headstrong India Pvt Ltd, Keane India, Cogniant Informatics, Apar Infotech and InfoZ Computing. Ravindra has extensive experience in Web\client server applications, architectures and RFID. He is Versed with SEI CMM-5, CMMI, BS7799, SOX and ISO 2000 standards and guidelines. He has good experience in software architecture design and Java Technologies.

Ravindra is the head of global professional services at Red Hat India. In his current role he is strongly focused on customising the range of Red Hat solutions and support offerings to Indian customers. Ravindra brings with him a rich experience of over 15 years, working with organisations like J P Morgan Chase, Kale Consultants Ltd, Flat Products Ltd and Precision Equipments Pvt Ltd. In his last assignment at J P Morgan Chase, Ravindra held the position of delivery leader responsible for the delivery of all applications for global cash and reconciliation across the globe. Ravindra has global exposure in leading multiple programs in various platforms and functional domains. He was responsible for the delivery of all applications for global cash and reconciliation across the globe. Ravindra has done his B.E. (electronics) from Amravati University and has completed training in various MMI/SCADA Packages development and Advanced Real-Time Control Systems .

Rohit Kumar Rai is the Platform Strategy Lead for MS India. In his role he is responsible for driving India specific platform strategy for Windows Platform. Helping drive value messaging of MS as a technology company and enabling the eco-system with the right environment to help customer make better and more informed decisions on technology. In his role he is responsible for talking to various communities in India understand their technology needs and ensure MS Corp offers the right programs and technologies for India. He also drives the Interop initiative in India and is working with both customers and partners in helping them solves challenges on Interop.

Satish Mohan has over 12 years of experience in open source development--right from device drivers to applications. Satish brings with him a vast domain knowledge and industry expertise to Red Hat. As the head of engineering, Satish primarily focuses on enabling technologies that will make Linux adoption on desktops and servers a pleasant experience. This also includes enabling local languages on Linux. He is also responsible for conceptualising and designing open source technology-based infrastructure for enterprises.

Satish is a member of the Open Source Development Labs (OSDL) Desktop Linux Initiative Team. The team supports open source development worldwide, by lending their expertise to a wide range of projects, providing analysis and recommendations throughout the development cycle.

Valsa Williams is a keen Open Source enthusiast. In her current role within Intel’s Software and Solutions Group (SSG), Valsa is the Asia Strategy Manager for Linux and Open Source.  In this role, Valsa is responsible for creating and maintaining a comprehensive Asia strategy that takes into account all aspects of the Linux and Open Source environment. This includes key elements around the community, government, universities, standards, vendors and the execution of this strategy in partnership with other divisions within SSG and the rest of Intel.  Valsa has worked extensively with the Open Source Communities and Government  departments across Vietnam, Korea, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Japan  and of course India. She has participated in several international conferences and projects.

Vivek Bhatnagar is the Country Director & Global Alliances Director for Ingres Corporation.  He holds an MBA from IIM Bangalore and a MS from University of Maryland at College Park.  In the current role, he is responsible for India domestic sales & marketing operations as well as global alliances with leading Indian System Integrators and ISVs for joint global market initiatives and solutions.  He has worked in the IT and management consulting industry in US and India for more than 14 years and has held various sales management, business development and consulting roles in organizations such as Informatica Corporation, Accenture, and Infosys Technologies.
